LTM - Node status

Hello,   I tried to search but maybe I wasn't doing right to get the info. I'm looking for the operational details of a node status   (up/down/forces down) and session ( enabled/disabled )com...

Can someone please confirm the following node status meaning is correct or not?

 

 

NODE 1.2.3.4 DOWN SESSIONS ENABLED or DISABLED

 

=> The node is DOWN (or even FORCED DOWN), no requests are serviced, even though new sessions are configured as enabled.

 

 

 

If above statement is true, can we say the connections will be cut-off as soon as the node status changed to "DOWN" ?
