Jul 25, 2013Loggin for application slowness
I have a web application that is "slow" and the blame is being put on the F5. I am wondering if there is any logging of how long transactions take or if I can set something up. Or any other recomendations of how to prove or debunk the theory that it is the F5. Also any advice on performance tuning. How much overhead does encryption put on an application?
Thanks
Joe

if application is always slow all the time, i would run tcpdump to see who causes the slowness.
this is the past conversation.
iRule to log end-to-end response time

run tcpdumps on both sites of f5. The timestamps schows, if f5 is slowing down the communication
