Load-balancing to a cache engines in one-arm mode
Hi all,
We are looking for a solution to redirect traffic to a cluster of cache engines in one-arm mode (just like that : http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Basic_Load_Balancing_Using_One_Arm_Mode_with_Source_NAT_on_the_Cisco_Application_Control_Engine_Configuration_Example)
Goal is no to use Cisco ACE like in the diagram, but a F5 gear instead to intercept traffic between clients and servers and redirect traffic to a cluster of cache engines on the way to the servers (just like with a router configured with WCCP or PBR, but we don't want to use PBR/WCCP but load-balancers instead ; reason is WCCP is very long to converge when there's a failover)
Is it possible with F5 products and which one ?
Thanks very much
- Charles_16084NimbostratusWe are looking to implement a similar solution. Did you ever make any headway on this?
- What_Lies_Bene1CirrostratusThis should be pretty easy to implement using LTM and SNAT.
