License recover after reinstalling virtual appliance.

Hello,

 

I have two virtual appliance in cluster and I need to relocate them in another environment. Unfortunately virtualization team cannot move these machines on the new farm so I have to reconfigure all services from zero. My concern is how can recover the licenses since I will have new UUID for each appliance. Do you know if is some standard procedure to recover the license or can I avoid somehow “losing” the licenses ?

    You should refer your question to F5 Technical Support. I believe they should be able to "move" (re-associate) the license with the new virtual appliances in our license database.
