L2 Vlan-Group Issues (Do iRules work on vlan-group traffic or VS's of type DHCP?)

2 Questions for anyone who has used vlan-groups:

 

• Using a L2 vlan-group inside a route-domain, does anyone know if a forwarding virtual server with an iRule attached should actually work? Seems like stat's go up for the VS's, but iRules are simply ignored.. is this something specific with vlan-groups? Does it pass it thru w/o inspection? I wouldn't have thought so. (I can confirm traffic flows both ways fine thru the vlan-group (icmp, bootp, http), so traffic passing isnt a problem, just the attempt at added payload inspection via iRule).

   

• Similarly, can an iRule actually take affect on a VS of type 'dhcp', as none of the client_accepted or client_data events fire (with a simple log statement in them).

   

Thoughts anyone?
