Hi,
I am looking for the option to change the ASM Policy name. Is there any way to change the current/running ASM policy name.

No, you can't change the ASM policy name in running mode. Best option is to create fresh policy on f5 and assign during non-business hour.
Or, change in vi mode and re-load configuration but its not advisable.

Shann_P_160848I think you can export the policy and perform edits on the XML file for the name. I think there are 3 different places I update the name. Then you can upload and assign to a Virtual Server. This would keep any changes you have made to the policy.

The approach I would recommend is to Export the existing ASM policy (binary export)
Security ›› Application Security : Security Policies : Active Policies
Select the Policy
Click Export
Create a new policy with the desired policy name.
Then Import the exported policy file to replace the newly created policy.Security ›› Application Security : Security Policies ›› Import Security Policy
You can then change any the virtual servers to refer to the new ASM policy, and finally delete the old one.
