Is it possible to change the ASM policy name?

Hi,   I am looking for the option to change the ASM Policy name. Is there any way to change the current/running ASM policy name.

No, you can't change the ASM policy name in running mode. Best option is to create fresh policy on f5 and assign during non-business hour.

 

Or, change in vi mode and re-load configuration but its not advisable.

    I think you can export the policy and perform edits on the XML file for the name. I think there are 3 different places I update the name. Then you can upload and assign to a Virtual Server. This would keep any changes you have made to the policy.
