Is iControl snapin 11.6.0.0 supported in BIGIP 11.4.1 with HF6?

We are planning on using iControl snapin 11.6.0.0 to create the datagroup list as dictionary. The F5 version is BIGIP 11.4.1 with HF6. Can iControl snapin 11.6.0.0 be used for this version of the F5?

    Yes, the snap-in will work, the only problems you might encounter:

     

    • New methods in 11.6 that are defined in the snapin won't work with 11.4.1
    • Methods in 11.4.1 that are deprecated in 11.6 won't be available in the snapin.
