iHealth shows 1600 appliance has 8 interfaces whereas 1600 should have only 4?

Hi all,

 

I was analyzing some qkview file to suggest a tech-refresh for existing LTM 1600. According to the datasheet, 1600 has 4x 10/100/1000 interfaces and a separate management port.

 

Interesting, when I browse config explorer for interfaces in iHealth website, it listed 8 interfaces and 1 management interface.

 

Could it be virtual interfaces? I am not aware of such capabilities.

    Yes, LTM 1600 has 4 interface(1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4). which you can see in 

    show net interface all
    . F5 use hidden interface for internal communication. In above output it seems virtual interface has also created.

    For all Interface details

     (tmos) show net interface -hidden all-properties
