iControlREST doesn't seem to be working directly when the user needs to authenticate via TACACS or any other external auth system (11.5.x). I understand that there is a bug id associated with this. Does anyone know the bug id ? Has this been fixed in any specific code version (12.x) ? Any possibility of getting this fixed retroactively in one of the 11.5.x HotFixes ?

AFAIK, iControl REST is not officially supported in releases prior to 11.6.0 so I wouldn't bet on any bugfixes for the 11.5 branch...

Hi, It's working in 12.1.0, You first need to get a token from the external auth provider. It's fully described here in the "About external authentication providers with iControl REST" section : iControl® REST API User Guide, Version 12.1.0
