iControl 9.4.1 - not working properly?

Hi All,

 

 

We recently upgraded out F5 to v9.4.1 and the applications we wrote don't appear to be working with iControl like they did before.

 

 

Example:

 

expiration is always coming back as 0 - this use to come back with the time in seconds of when the content will expire. The profile is set to cache for 300 seconds.

 

 

vary_type is now coming in as RAM_CACHE_VARY_ACCEPT_ENCODING when it use to come in as NONE. I think this is causes us to have multiple versions of items in cache with the same URI.

 

 

Any ideas?

    I personally don't know of any features with the RAM cache that were changed for 9.4.1 that would effect the way the iControl reponses are returned. I'd pass this one off to product support as we aren't equipped here to be able to diagnose device specific issues. We can help out with the API development but debugging issues with the device has to go through product support.
