AltocumulusIBM vs iControl
Hello, is it possible to iControl in the Big-IP to replace some DataPower features like (xml parsing, routing, saml, ws-security)? my client is using the IBM DATAPOWER xs-40 in order to interface communications (mainly soa) between the presentation level and backend (ESB). anybody had already experienced such a scenario ?

iControl isn't really suitable for real time operations such as these. However, you could use an iRule instead. I've not had any direct involvement but I've certainly seen most (if not all) of these features replaced with iRules. The security features are probably the most difficult and may require other modules.
