Jul 29, 2009httpd not responding
Hi,
I was trying to access logs through my https GUI, it was logging in the logs for a while.
I didn't get an answer and my my LTM in not responding to any HTTP requests any more.
I'm capable of logging to the SSH and see that port 443 is open.
My browser is not showing any errors, it's getting stuck when login in to the GUI.
I think that restarting the httpd would be enough, but I'm not sure how will it affect the LTM.
I got these unusual logs as well:
httpd[13745]: [error] Error ajp_process_callback - write failed
httpd[13745]: [error] ajp13.service() ajpGetReply recoverable error 3
httpd[13745]: [error] Error ajp_process_callback - write failed
httpd[13745]: [error] ajp13.service() ajpGetReply recoverable error 3
httpd[13745]: [error] ajp13.service() Error forwarding ajp13:localhost:8009 1 0
httpd[13745]: [error] mod_jk.handler() Error connecting to tomcat 3
Is there a way to restart the httpd and not affect the traffic going thought the LTM?

bigstart restart httpd shouldn't impact user traffic, though that's not authoritative. - L4L7_53191

That error actually looks like apache can't talk to the tomcat instance that runs the GUI logic ("Error forwarding ajp13:localhost:8009"), so you may want to restart tomcat as well: "bigstart restart tomcat4" should get the GUI back up and working.
