What model F5's do you have?
Are you supposed to be licensed for compression on both units? Have you tried to re-active the license on the unit having the problem.
It sounds like one of your units is licensed for compression and the other is not. You either need to disable compression in the one you are trying to sync from, or get the other unit licensed for compression.

its a Viprion setup and both the units have same license on them

Cirrocumulus
See https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/400/sol13469.html - i'd look to run the commands on both to see if that flags up the issue. i'm sure support will ask you to do so anyway.

Then I would suggest you open a ticket up with F5 support.

Well guys I figured it out the problem was due to the http compression profile created by the iAPP disabling i disabled this and it all work fine for the sync. The problem is very tricky how come an iapp created a profile if it's not a license feature on the unit. Plus I would like to know if you may comment on this. Now that I have a VS created using iapp and if I manually create the ASM profile and attach to this VS or if I create an AVR profile and attach to this VS is it a problem?? or its fine...

Cirrocumulus
that should be fine, but you may need to go into the iapp and disable Strict Isolation to allow an update to a resource created by the iApp.

Which model blades do you have? I thought all of the Viprion blades had compression of some level included.

According to BigIP the B2150 and B2100 Blades includes 400 Mb/sec of compression.
