How to setup a monitor in F5 LTM that will monitor the server URL instead of the health of the server. So that if the server is online but the application is down in it, F5 marks it down in pool.

If the application is HTTP, a properly configured HTTP monitor should do the trick:

If the application is another protocol, look for the appropriate protocol monitor.
