NimbostratusHow to setup BIG-IP VIP for AWS ELB endpoint
Hi, How can Big-ip vip be setup with AWS ELB endpoint? In our case, BigIP is in our datacenter and we have a service in AWS behind AWS ELB. Is it possible to setup a VIP for ELB endpoint? I see only IP address option.

You can do like this:
F5 VIP --> Pool member will be ELB IP
cheedallarajeshAWS ELB ip is dynamic and changes. Amazon recommends to not to use ip of elb. Is iRule an option?

End users are going to use F5 VIP FQDN or ELB FQDN?

I think i found an option to use irule to forward request to dns. It requires to setup a pool. It should solve my case. Thank you

Pool members can be referenced by IP address or FQDN. You can copy the DNS name of the ELB service and then add that FQDN as a pool member. When the ELB IP changes, so will your pool member IP.
