how to reallocate/reduce disk size of /var in bigiq

hi

i am using bigiq 6.1 with single DCD

i used resizevol /var size(kb) to increase the size of /var

i have assigned all free space to /var

but now i need to increase the size of /var/log

i need to know how to reduce the size of /var , so i can assign freespace to /var/log

    I think shrinking of directories is not supported, increasing the size of the directory is possible using

    "tmsh modify sys disk directory <directory name> new-size <new directory size in 1KB blocks>"
