How to name the virtual server configured using F5

I have an IP assigned to a virual server and having pool members under it.

 

I want to know how can I name the virtual server so as to resolve it's name automatically on the same subnet.

    Not sure I understand what you're asking...

     

    But I'll Hazard a guess...

     

    BigIP doesn't care what you call the VS (The web server might, but OOTB big doesn't). You name the VS by any method you like that the client can resolve. Usually that means putting it in DNS. But you have the option of host files on the client or even accessing by IP if you really really wanted to...
