Sep 29, 2008how to duplicate UDP traffic?
hey,
how could i duplicate UDP traffic to more than 1 IP address?
i have a UDP stream destined to F5 virtual server.
and i want to receive that same stream on 2 different IP addresses
(the stream is uni-directional).
can that be done with an iRule?

A clone pool can be used to capture the stream. - Mait_Mandel_107

clone pool doesnt help me - this copies the traffic to another interface but does not change the destination IP address of the outgoing UDP packet - Nicolas_Menant

agree.
it send the exact same packet to the clone pool. To send it to the clone pool, it uses the MAC address of the clone pool members. This is used for IDS mostly
Since you don't have command like HTTP::retry for TCP and UDP communication i don't think it's possible - hoolio

This should now be possible using High Speed Logging in v10 or sideband connections in v11. See this post for details:
