NimbostratusHow to Configure LTM on the fly?
Hi I am new to F5. I have a requirement wherein I need to configure the LTM on the fly. Some of the requirements are Monitor Configuration, Pool Configuration, SSL Profile, Virtual Server Configuration,iRules etc. Can anybody tell me whether its possible to automate these tasks, if yes what should be the F5 APIs/Scripting language/module I should be using?

You should be looking at iControl this API will allow you to update the config on the fly

As for the Language that is a personal choice on what you know best. Now if you look at the iControl code share you can find a lot of iControl scripts that will do what you are looking for.
