How to configure internet access for the real servers behind the F5 linerate system
Is there a way to configure a virtual server or SNAT so that the real servers in the pools can have access the internet on the F5 linerate system? I know with the normal F5 system you can configure a forwarding virtual server with a SNAT attached to it for this access, would there be a way to configure the same function on the linerate system?
Thanks,
Jeremy

I should also add that the real servers are using private IP addressing. - Madhu_Rajagopal

Hi Jeremy, Based on your information, the forward-proxy feature may be useful in your scenario described. You may refer to the online documentation on configuring a forward-proxy: http://docs.lineratesystems.com/087Release_2.6.1/100Getting_Started_Guide/Configuring_a_Forward_Proxy
There is also more information describing the outbound NAT feature on LineRate: http://docs.lineratesystems.com/087Release_2.6.1/275Administrator's_Guide/Outbound_Network_Address_Translation
Note that F5's LineRate supports proxy for TCP and HTTP services only.
Please come back if you have further questions.
Thanks Madhu

Hello Andrew,
Enabling ip routing fixed my issue as i was trying to route the real-servers through the load balancer to my NAT router and could not get that to work. Thanks again for the comment.
