How server is assigned (within DC) in Link Controller?

On LC with a 2 node cluster scenario, during initial setup Default DC is automatically created and one of the nodes is chosen as server within DC. I have checked several customers and most of them have node 2 as server, but have one with node 1 instead.

 

Do you know how server is chosen (I mean what event triggers configuration of this part and the logic of selecting one node or the other)?.

 

Is it possible to change the server in default DC once configured?, How?
