How do I rename self-IP objects?

Can someone explain how I can rename a few self-IP objects? I see these are located in bigip_base.conf. I just want to change the object names to reference the new device name which has changed.   ...

That was it. I have two devices in an HA pair and had to add new IP/remove the old IP from the failover unicast configuration first, then I was able to remove the self-IP from the device.
