Help Load Balancing Coveo Search Servers

Hello,

We have two coveo search servers, well, possibly 3, but I know of two I was asked to load balance. They require HTTPS and the search to use port 52810. I've tried several pool and virtual server variations, including selecting *all ports, and yet none seem to work. We also don't have a valid health monitor either.

Would appreciate any expertise on configuring a VS object/pool to use both HTTPS and specific port.

Thanks in advance!

Diane

So if the vip has a client-ssl profile then you need a server-ssl profile too. If you have no client-ssl profile, then you are doing "passthrough" ssl, which means you can't have a http profile or anything higher than ssl in the OSI stack.

Next, you need to make sure port translation is enabled, unless the vip and the pool have the same port.

Finally, you add the pool and the pool members on the 52810 port, and port translation will take care of the rest.

You may need SNAT Automap depending on your environment.
