Health Montior with Receive String - LTM 10.2.3
I have a Health Monitor configured to look for a receives string and receive disable string.
Name: get_tomcat_status_8081 Type: HTTP Interval: 5 sec Up Interval: Disabled Time Until Up: 0 Timeout: 16 sec Send String: GET /HealthCheck/status.html \r\n Receive String: Enabled Receive Disable String: Disabled Reverse: No Transparent: No Alias: * All Addresses Alias Service Port: 8081
The Server responds correctly when sending a direct query:
http://10.1.9.225:8081/HealthCheck/status.html Response: Enabled
The Health Check Fails from the F5.
Am I missing something?

Hi Richard, I think it would be worth checking out this solution https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/2000/100/sol2167.html.
Bigip monitors use http 0.9 and it may be that that's causing the issue. Try changing to v1.0 and follow the advice in the Sol above to construct the request.
Also, the string has to be in the first 5120 bytes of the response.
Hope this helps,
N
