NimbostratusGTM and favor local datacenter
We have two datacenters with a v11 GTM and v11 LTM(HA) per DC. We'd like for the GTM/WideIP at each DC to always return a VIP local to it unless its local LTM is down, in that case we'd like it to return a VIP for the other datacenter.
I know that we can change the order of the pools, but we have the two GTMs in a sync group to simplify management and the pool order seems to be shared. If we modify, it gets overwritten.
Is there any way or setting that would let us prefer the local DC without splitting up the sync group?

If you have LTM Health Checks configured then the GTM will take the availability of the destination locations into account before giving an answer.
