HI I have an f5 1500 v9.1.2
I was following your cool video on .net application with big ip and wanted to check one question.
I get to Node.ITCMCommonIPPortDefinition
But dont have this as an option.
I only have 7 option and this isn't one of them.
Is it beacuse I need 9.2 or higher. We did try and install this but had rebooting probelms so will not be trieing the upgrade again for while.
- The getting started video is for iControl v4.x. We haven't updated the video for the v9.x platform. If you just remove the "ITCM" from the object names, you should be able to work your way around it. So, in your case, ITCMCommonIPPortDefinition turned into CommonIPPortDefinition.

Hi. - No problem. I'm glad to hear you like the RSS feed app. That came out of the visit when the Channel9 guys from Microsoft (Click here) came out and we walked them through our iControl and iRules capabilities. Robert Scoble asked if we had RSS integration in our devices and I responded by whipping this up. I haven't received any feedback from the users out there about this app so it's good to hear that you find some use out of it.
- Are you using the iControl RSS feed script I wrote or are you working on one yourself? When I browse the NetworkStatus script I wrote, the images come out fine in Firefox/IE. I did convert the angle brackets to amp-lt and amp-gt respectively though. You might need to do that as well.
