Nov 12, 2009Firepass SSL VPN client not able to connect.
Hi All,
I am having issues in getting my Firepass VPN client working,
I was using XP SP3 with IE8, since i couldnt get it working in IE8, i uninstalled IE8 and installed IE7, i have the F5 plugin's installed, when i launch the firepass client. the cache cleaner popup window comes up... loads after 20 secs it looks like it gets minimized, but its gone i cannot find that popup.
i made sure popup blockers are disabled, this is confirmed because the cache cleaner popup loads initally otherwise it wouldnt. since the cache cleaner popup automatically closes, the main IE where it launches my RDP connection say "Sorry. ActiveX control is required to view this page" i think the cache cleaner popup window needs to saty for the firepass VPN client to work.
I tried in IE6 and the situation is same, firefox 3.0 it says the control is damaged.
Guys please help, i need to get this working.

I suspect that your anti-virus may have falsely identified tunnelserver.exe as a threat and damaged it. Search for the F5 plug-in files on your local drive, delete them, and reconnect to Firepass which will prompt you to reinstall them. Make sure your anti-virus is "aware" that tunnelserver.exe is an exception. Also, try disabling your personal firewall.
