Fan speed BIG-IP 7250V

Hi peeps!

I have a problem that i cant find a solution to. It is about the FAN speed on my BIG-IP 7250V.

Problem is that all the fans are spinning at full speed!

Chassis Fan Status

Index Status Low Limit(rpm) Fan Speed(rpm)

1 up 1000 10764

2 up 1000 11619

3 up 1000 10764

4 up 1000 11437

CPU Status
Index Temp(degC) Fan Speed(rpm)

1 42 11619

One thing i cant understand is why the system thinks i have a CPU fan? Cause i dont, i only have a CPU heatsink on it.

My BIG-IP version is: BIG-IP 13.1.0.8 Build 0.0.3 Point Release 8.

Anyway have any clue on how i can fix this? Cause it is really loud!

Basically, the registers for a CPU fan are present on the system, even if the fan itself is not present. The query reports a static number.

These systems are about as loud as a large vacuum cleaner.
