Failover just with HA interface
Hi,
Actually playing with HA environment with 2 LTM, when configuring Failover, by default HA & Management address are selected and it Works correctly (active / passive), but when I put only HA (without management in unicast failover section) both F5 shows state ACTIVE / ACTIVE and each one appears to other as Offline.
It's necessary always include MGMT address? I'm conecting directly the 2 nodes without passing through a Switch, that's correct? or it's imperative interconect through switch?
Many thanks!!
Active/Active status is probably caused by Port lockdown 'None' configuration on your HA VLAN/SelfIP which is the default setting. Set it to 'default', and try again. Specifying the management interface in network failover configuration is not necessary at all.
