F5OS migrate license

Hello guys.

 

I need some help if it's possible. I have 8 phisical appliances (F5OS | rSeries), 4 on each Data Center. When the technical was install the licenses, he did a little mistake and install all APM licenses on the same Data Center. Now, I need migrate 1 APM license from the Appliance "A" to appliance "B" in another phisical place. Is it possible? Or will be necessary move the phisical appliance?

    Hi Andradejp,

    You need to reach out to f5 Customer care by giving a call on toll free number in your country and ask them to deactivated the license on the present r series device/devices, once deactivate/removed, the license will be free to be activated again on a new F5 r series device in another DC. 

    No need to shift the device physically from one DC to another DC.
