F5 WAF Policy
is that applicable to apply the waf policy on a virtual server configured on port HTTP
Hi,
The WAF policy does not specifically have to be attached to a virtual server that is listening on the HTTP port (I assume you mean 80 or 443?). However, any virtual server that you would like to attach a WAF policy to, must have an HTTP profile attached to it, as WAF policies can only work with HTTP traffic (whichever port it may be coming in on).
Hope this helps, but if I misunderstood your question, let me know!
