F5 unexpectly monitor pool member up/down many times / day
Hi
I got alert from ltm which show Pool member is up/down like this (down for 3-5 sec many times/ day)

Subject: 01070727:5: Pool /Common/Pool_ECM_WIN member /Common/192.168.200.105:80 monitor status up.
[ /Common/ECM_HTTP_Monitor: up ] [ was down for 0hr:0min:4sec ]
Pool Member Status Up
I think root cause is not because monitor configuration is seem fine (Detail From bigip.conf)
ltm monitor http /Common/ECM_HTTP_Monitor {
defaults-from /Common/http
destination *:*
interval 5
ip-dscp 0
recv "200 OK"
send "GET /webtop/ HTTP/1.1\\r\\nHost: ecm.host.com\\r\\nConnection: Close\\r\\n\\r\\n"
time-until-up 0
timeout 16
}
What is this problem about? It's doesn't seem like bouncing to me. (many times/day but not as fast as bouncing)
Did I need to extend interval to 30 and timeout to 91 to prevent F5 unexpectly mark member down ?
Thank you

Well to state the obvious, the server(s) did not respond with 16 seconds to the monitor check. My guess is that the server(s) are busy and can't respond. So you can increase timeout, or you can increase the interval and the timeout.
Do you need 30/91? Well, you need to decide how long you want to send new sessions to a server that could be down. Do you want to do this for 91 seconds?
You could try using 10/31 and see if that helps, that would just about double the time you have now.
