F5 to F5 load balancing

We need to deploy a solution where pool members of the VIP in F5 need to be the VIP of another two F5 outside the network. We have route to another two F5 which is outside the network.   F5-A VIP...

VIP (F5-A) >>> VIP (F5-B) >>> POOL (F5-B)

 

Why not consolidate the pools under 1 F5 ? VIP (F5-A) >>> POOL (F5-B)

 

I am not seeing the reason for such a setup. Can you please, provide more information for the reason behind such a set up and what you are trying to achieve ?
