F5 sessions the username doesn't include domain name
hi
When i look at sessions via the gui the user is always the username minus the domain. is there a way to change that.
I have lots of users from different domains. so I could have 2 alex's
alex@exmaple.com
alex@widget.com
and looking through sessions I can see that user alex is logged in twice ?

If you are using AD auth maybe you are splitting the domain and this is why the username variable is just with the username?

Still you should have the variable session.ad.last.actualdomain that will show the domain. You may use the variable assign agent and create custom variable and by her you will know who is who:
