Did you try adding the extra space it was failing for? Look at your VM and see if you have reclaimable space as well.

Yes. it was 60 GB and increased it to 93 GB .. Would increasing it more make a difference

I have increased to 130 GB and it is still complaining

The VM should have 2 partitions. What are the sizes of each?

Go into the settings of VMWare Player (I presume that's what you're using) and review both partitions. I currently have the first partition at 82GB and the other at 20GB. ASM requires 20GB to run.

I have tried resizing this by using the command: modify /sys disk logical-disk <storage name> vg-reserved <new size> but nothing is working ...

F5 uses LVM, so "df -h" is not the command you are looking for.

Try to check the free space using

# vgs

If you need more space you should increase the size of the disk in the hypervisor and reboot the box.

Removing some installation old volumes is also a good point to free space.
