F5 Migration tools

Are there any F5 migration tools for F5 to F5 devices?   For example, we have 3900's and are moving to 8500's.   Would joining them in a cluster work as long as they are in the same version?  ...

Hello,

 

Based on this https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K16216, the only know error with the "no-plateform-check" option are with versions :

 

  • 11.6.0
  • 11.6.0 HF1
  • 11.6.0 HF2
  • 11.6.0 HF3

So If you are not in these versions I recommend you to use the UCS first with both options "no-plateform-check" "no-license"
