F5 detailed documentation - Upgrade paths

Hi all,

 

I have come across several configuration issues trying to upgrade from 11.6 -> 12.0 version. Almost every single time the issues resolved by upgrading directly from 11.6 to 12.1.1. Does anyone know if there is any f5 documentation or table along with hot-fixes where someone can see all recommended upgrade paths ??

    That would be in the Release Notes of each version. It is transparent that the minor and maintenance releases contain fixes of the issues in the initial major release, and they are the ones one should upgrade to, rather than the initial major one.

    agree with Jie, there isn't a real upgrade path for F5, with some exceptions which are usually about specific parts, you can upgrade from everything to everything. to the most recent stable release will solve the most issues, but have perhaps the one that bothers you.
