F5 Bigiq
Hi,
For example I have deployed F5 Ltm vm appliances on vmware locally and amazon ec2 instances as f5 ltms adc. I have also install F5 bigiq on vmware at local. Can this bigiq manage also amazon and vmware adc instances both or only where ever the bigiq deployed such as only vmware and seperate bigiq has to installed on amazon side?
Thanks

BigIQ is, from my understanding, agnostic to the location of your BigIPs. You just need connectivity. What value it provides, at this point, I a bit dubious. It's a few modules shy of useful, in my opinion. Right now, I believe, it supports LTM, AFM and Device. They did just add RBAC to it though, which is positive.

The BigIQ doesn't care where your BigIPs are located. You just need to have connectivity to them for it to manage them.

I heard and issue that there is a problem when you want to control remote devices out of your local network so like same time management of vmware localy and amazon f5 adc instance remotely so try to confirm this.

First I've heard of that, and is not my experience, but that would be a question relatively easily validated by just trying it. Ask your SE or sales person for an eval license (you might even be able to get one via the web site).
