F5 big-ip port the configuraiton

Hi guys

 

Just started with big-ip, and have big plans.

 

So need to replicate my appliance setup in a lab env and test few features. Was wondering whats the best practice. Just to give an analogy, in switching and routing you can copy and paste the config files from old to new and then voila, is this an option here too? and if yes please advice how

    Hi Bijan, if the appliance have the same firmware version you can port the configuration exporting a ucs file from the first appliance and importing it in the new one.

     

    You can find the UCS menu under System->Archives
