F5 Big IP HA Setup
Hi All I currently have a BIG IP LTM running standalone I have the self IPs and Floating IP's set up on it per interface. My question is, how do I bring another box into it? can I use the Wizard to do it or do I need to do it manually if it has mutliple interfaces? does the wizard handle mutliple interface configurations cheers Carl

Hi,
You can do it manually, you have better flexibility and mastery.
So first I advise you to create a dedicated HA Vlan in order to manage HA between your member.
So First of you have to have the same vlan on both equipement (with the same name).
Example member1: internal: SIP: 10.20.10.10 - FIP: 10.20.10.20 external: SIP: 172.20.10.10 - FIP: 172.20.10.20 ha: 192.168.1.10 member2: internal: SIP: 10.20.10.11 external: SIP: 172.20.10.11 ha: 192.168.1.11You don't need to create Floating IP on the second member because floating IP will synchronise...
Then follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNsnSOMeeCk
But if you want to use wizard you can also (I can understand that if you do it for the first time it will not easy...): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NLx3FPgMgI
Important Point: - vlan have to have the same name. - set channel communication on both member (Device management -> Device -> click on you device then set Device connectivity: configsync, networkfailover and Mirroring using your HA vlan)
Let me know if you need more help.
Regards.
