F5 as Link Controller and Authoritative DNS

Hi,

 

We have F5 Big-IP hosted on VM with version 13.0.0. To be clear; we want F5 to act as link controller and also as a authoritative DNS name server. Can anyone help me out in performing step by step configuration?

    As you want F5 to provide an authoritative DNS service you will need F5 DNS (GTM).

     

    If you add the LTM module as well as F5 DNS then you can provide the same services as Link-Controller and much more.
