expand root partition

Expanding the size of the linux partitions is not recommened or documented from F5 support (recently opened a case asking about increasing the size of /shared on a EM device).

 

You can google around for how to do it but I am not sure what impact it might have to the system going forward with HotFixes and patches.

I have attempted to make linux customization in the past and it always ended with trouble..:) I do agree the root partition is small.

 

Just out of curiosity, what were you wanting to accomplish?

Ideally F5 provides the file system laid out so it "just works". If you're seeing issues with this, please open a case with Support to document the issue and get help resolving it.
