exceptions to redirects

Are you trying to define the class within the iRule itself? I don't think that works. I'm pretty sure you have to declare the class separately (as a datagroup). Try that.

where would i do that?

ok so i defined my datagroup,

Try putting the URL in quotes:

I'm not sure if it's required (I forget the exact TCL rules about this stuff), but it's the only thing I see that might be wrong.

I think I see it. You only have 1 ':' where you need 2.
