Eval "Best" BYOL downgrade to "Good" BYOL purchased license

I want to launch some AWS instances with the "Best" AMI from the marketplace and the "Best" BYOL license our SE gave us. Once these are launched i plan on configuring them as if they were only "Good" licenses. So no GSLB/Firewall/etc. Once our purchased licenses get in i would like to apply that to the VE's i have already configured. My question is if this is possible? I have never tried to go down in feature set. If i am not utilizing anything in the Best/Better feature set should this work just fine? Or will the use of the "Best" AMI give me issues?
