Erratic behavior of the iRule/Virtual Server due to CMP?

 

 

I have been seeing unusual behavior on our LTM 1600. I have configured a stripped down version of the ProxyPass Lite iRule to meet a special requirement for the SharePoint sites - All Internet Traffic should remain HTTPS and LAN traffic should redirect to and remain HTTP-only.

 

 

The SharePoint site stops working abruptly; over the Internet while works just fine in the LAN. When I go back to LTM and update the iRule with anything (ex: write a statement to log something and update) the sites start working again.

 

 

Has anyone seen this behavior before? I'm inclined to think this behaviour is caused due to CMP miss, but I can't be sure. I don't know if disabling CMP on the VS will help, I do not want to touch anything without actually knowing it.
