Hello Experts,
We have encountered a issue where we have saw backend pool members /pool down on a Virtual server. Checked all the things (vlan, firewall port communication etc) all were fine.
Pool members came up after manually clearing the arp of same following Network > Arp path. problem is repeatedly happened for 2-3 VIPs on same load balancer.
We are searching what is going wrong everytime due to which ARP getting stuck and need to reset from load balancer end.
Is anyone also gone through this problem, and how it became sorted out permanently.

how do you set the vlan and interfaces?
redundant active-standby f5 pair isn't single Layer 2 entity, but 2 of separate L2 entities.
so for example, you cannot have a lacp in switch side that the interface members go to both f5 devices.
you also cannot make an f5 vlan contains more than 1 interfaces then connect them to more than 1 switch.

- During issues, arp status showing as incomplete?

Sometime it shows INCOMPLETE, but recently it was showing RESOLVED, still server was not UP on LB monitoring. after resetting the ARP things were functional.

If its a viprion could you, please check the KB and do the suggestion pls.
Pool members are down and ARP entries show incomplete (f5.com)
If again its continuously affecting your chassis, you can connect with support as well for deep verification and bug check
