Nimbostratusbig-iq stuck running evaluation task
we an Big-IQ evaluation task that is now stuck in running status and we need to delete. Is there a daemon we could restart to clean this, without a reboot? We put in a ticket to F5, but only found possibly root cause. Id like to see if I can just restart a service or call a particular API to force remove that task if possible?

Could you try to run this command:
bigstart restart restjavad
This may change the status to FAILED and allow the deletion.
If not, you could try restarting all daemon with the command:bigstart restart.

jparrithank for the response Sebastiansierra. I will try to restart restjavad first. IS it safe to do that during day with limited interuption or wait during maintenance window?

If you restart the restjavad All BIG-IQ functionality stops, The core function of the BIG-IQ system is provided by way of restjavad, which implements all of the REST APIs. so if the Big-IQ is core in your company I recommend you restart it in a window maintenance.
