Enterprise Manager and iapp templates

Would like to know how one would use the latest Enterprise Manager as well as iApp templates? For eg there are changesets and templates via EM, and also the ability to interact with analytics if data collection is enabled. Can the EM interact with an iApp template on a managed device?
