Hi All,
I want an email alert to be configured from my LTM box, when ever the node has been taken offline / online. Alert has been set based on SNMP Trap article. But , i want it to be customized in the following way.
Alert has to be raised to the DL immediately, when the member or node has been taken online/offline from the LTM box. Member Name / Node Name : Pool Name if it is the member : User who performed the action :
Is this possible by any irule / or any settings. Please help me in this regard.

isn't node name included in log since 11.0.0?
e.g.
Dec 25 04:59:01 ve11a notice mcpd[6517]: 01070638:5: Pool /Common/foo member /Common/servertwo:88 monitor status down. [ /Common/http: down ] [ was unchecked for 0hr:0min:16sec ]for user, i think it is simpler to enable audit and send audit log (/var/log/audit).

We use Splunk to gather and alert using log data. I'm not sure you can generate email alerts from the F5 itself.
